According to the general online consensus (where research is based on unbiased, non-vested comments & articles), Mederma has to be applied for 3-6 months on Stretch Marks and for Mederma to be effective, it should be rubbed into your scar 3 or 4 times a day. They won't disappear, but they should become "softer and smoother".

Verdict:

Mederma is probably not the best cream for stretch marks as there are better creams that will provide results faster and you will not become a slave to applying it to your body 3-4 times a day without results.

Ingredients:
Water (purified), PEG-4, Onion (Allium Cepa) Extract, Xanthan Gum, Allantoin, Fragrance, Methylparaben, Sorbic Acid.

Directions For Use:
Mederma® Cream should be evenly applied and gently rubbed into the scar 3 times daily for 8 weeks on new scars, and 3 times daily for 3-6 months on existing scars.  Children under 6 months of age: ask a doctor.

Store at room temperature.
